I do a few of these Essentrics exercises a few times a day and it has really helped my shoulders. The important thing is to keep the shoulders moving according Miranda Esmonde White https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bKUpUxp2QxQ

Ahh I’ve wanted to check out the joy of react course but at $600 it feels a little steep especially with all the other resources out there.

I’m always so impressed by your work ethic and ability to adhere to a schedule. Most days if I can just get one thing done I already feel like I deserve a nap.

Thanks so much Beck, I so appreciate the kind words!! 💓💓💓 Hey, getting one thing done is a true miracle some days 😆 and you totally deserve the nap!!

Ahh yeah it IS a pricey course!! I actually bought it on sale when it first came out, so it was an easier buy! (It's SUCH a comprehensive resource that I feel it would have been worth it for me at full price fwiw, but I totally hear ya on the price + all the free resources on React, including plenty of Josh's blog!) If you ever wanted to give it a chance, he offers a 30 day 100% refund policy and so you could see if it's worth it for you and ask for a refund if not 💖

Oh you knoooooow I was all over that Pouch pre-order. LOVE this vrk!!!

- it's so rewarding to teach people new things, even if there's ways it could be better, that's such a special thing to share with them - and omg the matching outfits are seeeeending me. I hope I have pals like that when I'm older too. <3

- and oooooh buddy a hobonichi helping piece of software sign me up! so excited for what happens with that :)))

- and not to be that person, but since you did ask!, taking short, regular walks will help a lot with posture. even if you do like, a walk around a block (~5 mins) every 2 hrs. BIG gamechanger (I do this now in our apartment hallway because it's a super long wraparound building lol and i find it helps me!)

THANK YOU JM!!! 💕💕

Omg I didn't even share the best part re: the outfits - on their identical aprons, they had iron-on transfers of cartoon versions of both their faces 😭😭 it was sooooo cute and aspirational!!! They told me I need my own apron with my face ironed on it next time I run the workshop LOL 💖

LOVE the idea of regular walks!! And the idea of doing this in-building is also brilliant, sometimes entering the outside world is just too much 😂

Thank you so much Kelin!!! 💕💕💕 LOLL my PT doctor said that one of his other software engineer patients wrote a script to shut off his monitor every hour since that was the only thing that forced him to make posture adjustments throughout the day 😭 major inspiration!!
